EQUIPMENT:
Boys Equipment:
Included in the registration fee is a player pack which includes a shooter shirt (tshirt), shorts, and a personalized bag tag for that season. The shooter shirt is worn under your pads during games and you'll wear the shorts during games as well. Your child will need a boy's lacrosse stick (pocket is deep to hold the ball more securely), helmet, colored mouth guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, cleats (soccer are fine), a water bottle, and a protective athletic supporter (cup). Rib pads are a personal preference, but not necessary at this level. Equipment is available to rent from Lax4Community. Be sure to also purchase a lacrosse ball for your player as he'll need it to practice at home, cheap ones can be found at Play It Again Sports.
A $100 deposit check (made payable to Jr Greyhound Lacrosse or PJGL) will be required at the first practice so that your child may receive a practice pinnie and a team jersey. The check will be returned to you when we receive both items back at the end of the season, assuming they are in good condition.

Your child will need protective eye googles and/or a helmet, a girl's lacrosse stick (pocket is very shallow compared to a boy's stick), cleats (soccer are fine), a water bottle, and a colored mouth guard. Sticks and goggles are available to rent from Lax4Community Be sure to also purchase a lacrosse ball for your player as she will need it to practice at home, cheap ones can be found at Play It Again Sports.
A $100 deposit check (made payable to Jr Greyhound Lacrosse or PJGL) will be required at the first practice so that your child may receive a practice pinnie and a team uniform. The team uniform will arrive with player packs though. The check will be returned to you when we receive the items back at the end of the season, assuming they are in good condition.

The registration system currently registers based on age using Sept 1st as the age cutoff date. For those players whose age and grade do not match due to skipping a grade or delaying a year, the registration system will require you to register in the division that is age appropriate. Once you’ve completed registration, please email info@jrgreyhoundlax.com prior to the deadline if you would prefer your child be moved to the appropriate division based on the player's grade.
If you are forced to register your player for U9 due to your player's age and you would like them moved down to K/1, please select that you will pay by check. Once your registration is complete, email us at info@jrgreyhoundlax.com so we can transfer your player to K/1 and provide you the opportunity to pay the remaining balance via credit card or check. If you do not do this, you may be charged a 4% processing fee.
To Register a Player – Once you have registered for an account on this system and are logged-in, Add a participant if your player is not already in the system. If your player has played in our program before, and you don't have him/her listed as a participant, you may be logged into the wrong account. For each participant, it will show you the available programs. Select the desired program and follow the instructions. Please reach out to us at info@jrgreyhoundlax.com for help.

Out of district players MAY be accepted into the REC program, but the decision is evaluated on a season-by-season basis dependent on available roster spots. Please Note: This only applies to the REC program.
