Winter Sixes

BOYS Winter Sixes!

This winter we are excited to announce that the Pope Junior Lacrosse program will be hosting 5 FREE winter sixes play days for the boys.  If you haven't seen or experienced sixes yet it is a high speed version of lacrosse with lots of scoring and lots of running.  The game is played on a smaller field with 5 middies and 1 goalie on the field for each team.  No long poles, no body checking; just good fundamental lacrosse.

This opportunity is open to all players U9 through U15, but we do recommend that players have at least 1 season of experience before playing.  Full pads are required.

Players will be divided up based on age/skill level and multiple fields (older/younger) will be utilized when possible.  Teams will be put together on site and age splits will depend on the players present that day.

Game dates and time are subject to change, but games are currently planned for 1:00 PM on 11/13, 12/4, 12/17, 1/8, and 1/15.

Players must register to play and they must have a current USA Lacrosse number.  There is no cost to participate outside of renewing your USA Lacrosse membership, if necessary

Participation by players outside of Pope Junior Greyhound Lacrosse is limited and those players must reach out to Ryan Rowe, at boyslax@jrgreyhoundlax.com prior to registering.
